FEDERAL BUDGET

PREFERENCE POLL

Let your voice be heard

in the federal budget debate!

Three very different federal budget alternatives have been proposed for fiscal year 2012:

  • President Obama’s Budget Framework
  • The “People’s Budget” proposed by the Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC)
  • The GOP Budget proposed by House Budget Committee Chair Paul Ryan (R-WI)

Special interests – investors, corporate executives, the very rich – hire an army of lobbyists, media consultants and public relations firms to advocate for their interests in this debate.

The New Priorities Network has designed a poll to give everyone an opportunity to have their voice heard in this budget debate.

Take a minute to compare the three plans. Then take the poll to tell Congress what you think the nation’s priorities should be! Cast your vote for the plan that best represents your values and vision for our nation in 2012 – and beyond!

WHAT WILL HAPPEN WITH THE RESULTS?

The results of this poll will be sent to every member of Congress, to the media, and to everyone who participated in the poll who provides an (optional) email address.
